Echoes of Innocence was born from pain — and built on purpose.
We are a Canadian nonprofit committed to preventing child sexual abuse, exploitation, and trafficking. Our mission is clear:

to protect the innocent, confront the silence, and provide care where systems fall short.

Founded by a survivor and mother who turned her own trauma into a relentless calling, Echoes of Innocence exists for the children whose cries go unheard, whose suffering hides behind smiles, and whose innocence is too often dismissed or destroyed.

“I carry my story not as a burden — but as a banner.”

What We Do:

  • Prevention: Community education, awareness campaigns, and school safety outreach

  • Crisis Intervention: Survivor response planning, advocacy, and emergency resources

  • Aftercare: Grief support, trauma-informed counseling referrals, and healing programs for survivors and families

  • Public Education: Resources for parents, teachers, and frontline workers to recognize and respond to signs of abuse

Truth Statement

We do not shy away from the truth.
The majority of abuse happens in plain sight — inside homes, schools, churches, and community spaces. Perpetrators are rarely strangers. And the system too often protects silence over justice.

Our Promise

But we are not here to play it safe.
We are here to expose what’s hidden. To raise our voices for those too afraid to speak.
And to ensure that no child is ever forgotten, unseen, or unheard again.

We are here to make it stand out.

About Echoes of Innocence
Foundation for the Prevention of Child Exploitation and Abuse

Child sexual abuse is not a moment — it is a lifelong wound inflicted in silence. The crime is in the act, but the shame belongs only to the world that looked away.
